About me

Picture it: an organized mess of a desk of art supplies and script breakdowns. Thirteen open tabs, chipped nails, and a to-do list with a serious case of resting bitch face. That’s me behind the desk, Randi Lee Butcher. Professional wrangler of dreams, spreadsheets, and the day’s fresh brand of chaos.
I grew up in a film family. Daughter of a stunt-performer. Daughter of a talent agent. My childhood was filled with casting calls, camera crews, and men on fire. I was 9 years old when I stepped into my first role on set as an actress on a Ford commercial, and 16 when I performed my first stunt on the set of Mean Girls. From the outside, it looked effortless. Behind the scenes, it was anything but. I learned early how to show up, stay sharp, and keep moving when everything’s burning. Work ethic wasn’t taught to me. It was lived.
But I’m also Randi Lee Butcher, artist, visionary, creative force, seeker of stars. I make things. From the moment I could hold a crayon, my love affair with art was moved into motion. Now, thanks to a few plot twists from the universe, I get to do it for a living, transforming world’s envisioned in the minds of fellow artists into tangible realities. With over a decade of experience in the Art Department as both Graphic Designer and Art Director, I’ve created everything from large-scale hero props and signs to blink-and-you’ll-miss-it background details. I’ve led teams from nothing but a script, a dream, and an empty crew list, through the chaos of pre-production; conceiving, designing, problem-solving, pushing through all the way to the final shot. And that’s a wrap! And I do it all while staying three steps ahead in some seriously great boots.
I care about good work, good people, and getting my hands dirty. I work hard. And I mean it when I say I love, and sometimes hate, what I do. I’m at my best when I’m hands-on, thinking like a designer, building like a maker, and moving like a shaker. I take pride in being someone people can count on. This circus is my home, and there is no place like it. We are magic makers.
